FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)
- What can I expect when I contact you? After receiving your inquiry, we’ll shoot you an email to get a better understanding of what type of copy you may require. This brief initial chat can be done via email or zoom, your choice. After we agree on your marketing and content strategy, you will receive a Copywriting Agreement that will include the project(s), deadlines, pricing, as well as other details. An initial test project will help us both explore each other’s preferences. To commit us both to the project, I usually require a 50% upfront deposit. The remaining 50% will be paid upon project delivery (please note that small one-off projects need to be paid in full upfront). After submitting the assignment to you, you will have time to request one round of edits. We want to make sure the copy represents your voice and views, and is completely to your liking! All projects are required to be paid 100% upfront after the test project.
- How long will it take to hear back? I usually respond within 24 to 48 hours on weekdays or on Mondays if you write on a weekend.
- How long is the turnaround time for projects? Turnaround time will vary by project, the type of copy requested, and the clients’ needs for that particular project. Generally, we will agree upon a deadline upfront (this also applies for retainer articles). If necessary assignments can be expedited for an additional charge.
- What kind of payment options are available? I currently accept multiple payment options to make it easier for clients to pay their invoices, including Stripe, Square, and direct bank transfer.
- Are your services customizable to my business? Absolutely! Every business is different and has different needs. All bundles and single copywriting projects can 100% be customized to you. My services and rates are more of a guideline for clients. All SEO and content marketing copy, as well as direct response copy can be customized with retainer bundles being offered at special rates.
- Do you only write for specific clients? While I mainly write for sustainable, eco-friendly, and all-natural businesses, I can certainly help you with your marketing strategy in other fields too. Please feel free to reach out and I’ll be glad to take a look.
